We created this program for the Illinois Fire Fighter Peer Support Organization. Dr. Cody Todd convinced me that this charity had a strong need for some PR, so our shop donated our services for this production.

YWLCS Appeal 2014

Created for the Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago, this program was used for their annual Girl Power fundraising event. The 2014 fundraiser was very successful, and we hope that our role contributed to the success of this very worthy program.

With the 2014 National Truck Driving Championship almost upon us, we want to wish the Professional FedEx Drivers good luck in Pittsburgh this year. They are sending 138 drivers from 45 states to Pittsburgh this August.

This was a quick turn project, with inception to delivery in less than two weeks. A conference call on day one led to a creative treatment on day two and finished scripts by day 4. This opening video was one of three that featured three on camera talent.

Created from meeting clips, stand alone video clips and quotes from industry thought leaders, this program ran every so often in a trade show booth. The trick was integrating all of these different segments of media into a comprehensive program that didn't feel jarring or incongruous.

YWLCS 2013 Girl Power Closing Video

This program was created for the 2013 fundraiser for the Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago. YWLCS is the only all girl school in the Chicago School District. As a Charter School, they are responsible for the bulk of the funding of the school. This was one of six programs that we were honored to create for the annual fundraiser luncheon "Girl Power."

The CPS / UNCF Annual Appeal Video, 2013

This program was created for the Annual Appeal in the Chicago Public School System to raise funds for the United Negro College Fund Scholarship Program. Ten $10,000.00 scholarships are awarded to qualifying students every year. The program plays at the kickoff event and is used throughout the year at fundraising events."

Death of an Urban Forest

I had read about the Ash Trees when the Emerald Ash Borer first hit Chicago. They were cutting down trees everywhere in the city -- whole blocks of very mature trees were being cut down and chipped up. I thought that approach was incomprehensible, an outlandish way to try to stop the spread of this insect.

One Day on the Set

A creative script, three actors, a pretty full crew made for an efficient and fun day at a downtown stage! We didn't plan on doing production stills, but when Suzy wasn't busy she roamed around and shot some stills for the scrapbook. Afterwards, she cut this little program together which neatly encapsulates our day! So we though we would share it!

These scenes were recorded in the Fall of 2010 and 2011 in Central Illinois. While some think that these are visual pollution, I was trying to capture the graceful beauty as they slowly turn. The nat sound is embedded in the track and the wind noise is louder than any of these machines.
